A Tanzanian Cashew Exporter Built Around Single-Origin Sourcing
Afri Exports is a wholesale cashew nut exporter founded in 2010 in Mtwara, southern Tanzania. We buy direct from smallholder growers across the cashew belt, process to TBS standards in our Mtwara facility and ship FOB to importers and processors worldwide.

Single-origin, traceable to the district
Every container is tied to specific southern Tanzanian districts and to a harvest window inside the October to January season. That traceability is how we hold kernel grade and out-turn consistent across repeat orders — and how we stand behind a buyer's own claims to their customers and auditors.

Quality & compliance
A documented chain, lot after lot
Aflatoxin prevention starts at the farm — drying on raised racks, moisture verification, and lab testing on representative samples before every shipment. The control points are written down, checked and recorded so the food-safety result is the predictable output of a managed process, not luck with a particular crop.

Sourcing Lead
Manages farm-gate procurement across Mtwara, Lindi, Ruvuma and Tunduru. Built the date-of-harvest traceability system that ties every lot to a defined growing area and harvest window.
Asha Ngonyani
Quality Manager
Runs the kernel grading and aflatoxin control programme — from drying-rack discipline on the farm side to lab testing on representative samples before every shipment.
Daniel Mahenge
Logistics Coordinator
Plans packing, container loading and routing from Mtwara and Dar es Salaam — matching desiccant and packaging format to each ocean lane so kernels arrive in spec.
